Is there a need for further campaign finance reform?

Given the record amount of money spent on campaign advertising in 2008, is there a need for further campaign finance reform? This is a topic for my speech class, and I need opinions and why or why not there is a need.

Is there a need for further campaign finance reform?
Yes. The level of money needed to enter and compete in a campaign now is so high that either you are hunting contributions from people of all types including questionable associates or you take a large amount from PAC's or other groups.
