Can finance professional make as much as doctors?

If so, what percentage of finance professionals make as much as doctors?

What percentage of doctors make over 200K?

In general, who makes more?

Can finance professional make as much as doctors?
9 of the top 10 highest average paying careers are medical professionals (physicians, surgeons, orthodontist, anesthesiologist etcetera) according to figures obtained by the US Department of Labor. the average financial professional makes half to two thirds of what a medical professional makes. you can find wage and compensation info on over 700 careers for the US or for each city and state at this site:

Reply:Well generally a doctor is going to make more, but a top finance person is going to be competitive. I am a CPA that has spent a career in hospital finance as both a CFO and as a consultant. I make more than internal medicine guys and gals but less than surgeons.

Percentages, I don't know if that number is even available. But if you are good at what you do, you will be rewarded.

In general, doctors make more unless you are a top finance person. But family wise, CFOs take less call and have more weekends off.
